Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi called on former prime minister and ousted vice president Nouri Maliki to evacuate his bases and special offices he had at his disposal due to his last position, Al Arabiya TV reported on Saturday.
The official letter was issued form al-Abadi’s office in this regard and has reached Maliki’s hands, ordering him he has 48 hours to hand over public property still at his disposal to the relevant parties in the government, informed sources said. Prime Minister al-Abadi said this measure is in line with the new reforms plan demanded by the Iraqi people.
