Baghdad Daily, 22 Oct, 2012 – Iraqi MP Hamed Mutlak from the Iraqiya slate said in a special interview the Iranian regime is not only meddling in Iraq but also reaching its arms out to Syria as well. The main element behind the murders, killings and devastations that are ongoing in Syria is the Iranian regime, Mutlak added. This regime must be aware of the threats facing it as a result of such actions and distance itself from the Iraqi people and Arab nations. The regime has its hands in all the current events that are unfolding in the region, planning and organizing them.
The Iraqi people absolutely reject Iranian regime President Ahmadinejad’s visit to Iraq, since they have suffered much pain and agony. The truth is that there are many Iraqis who feel that there is a flagrant presence and interference in the political decision makings in Iraq and this is not in the interest of Iran, Mutlak emphasized.
