Hundreds of Fallujah residents in Iraq’s Anbar Province staged a demonstration demanding the lifting of the medical and food siege imposed on this city by Maliki’s forces, Baghdad TV reported.
The demonstrators said various illnesses have been seen amongst the elderly and children, including liver viruses and polio, adding water and power outages have forced many to use unpurified water directly from the river.
