Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi lashed at with strong words against Maliki, describing him as a person who goes back on pledges, Al Jazeera TV reported.
“Another term for Maliki will be allowing the policy of suppression and permitting killings and massacre of people to continue. This was carried out during the two terms of Maliki’s government against innocent people,” he said.
“We announce our firm opposition to any kind of third term for Maliki or approving him under any conditions or under any pretext,” al-Nujaifi added.
