General Mohammad Rostam, commander of the 8th Infantry Brigade affiliated to the Iraqi Kurdistan Pishmarga Ministry stressed his forces have orders to open fire in case units of Maliki’s Army advance, al-Sharqiya TV reported.
He held Army commanders responsible for the dangerous aftermaths of such an advance. Rostam insisted Army forces are not allowed to advance towards borders, especially in regions that are administratively separated.
