
Baghdad TV reported Maliki’s armed forces stormed into a polling station in Anbar Province and forced the people to vote for the slate led by Sa’doun al-Doleimi, Maliki’s acting defense minister and his accomplice in killing the people of Anbar.
According to this report in a flagrant violation of the law on elections day government vehicles were circling around polling stations in Baghdad’s al-Qadir area holding posters of Maliki and slogans of the State of Law slate.
Babeliya TV reported Sa’doun al-Doleiemi transferred Anbar Province ballot boxes to an unknown location.
Al-Tagheer TV reported in the al-Manar School in the Sheikh Hamd region in Taremiya security forces are not allowing the people to vote, and in the city of Samaraa the war room associated to Maliki is not allowing Karame faction observers reach two polling stations in the Khatib and Motaz areas in Samarra.
According to al-Tagheer TV despite the High Elections Commission saying the situation in Anbar Province are stable, sources deny this, providing that six polling stations in the town of Ratbe have not been opened. Furthermore, Maliki’s security forces in the Aba’ polling station in Baghdad’s Rezvaniya district placed barriers blocking people from taking part in the elections. In two polling stations in Baghdad’s Mechanic area polling devices were down and people were worried of vote fraud.
Al-Tagheer TV also reported those Baghdad residents displaced from their homes due to recent fighting have not been allowed to vote.
