In an interview with Al-Hurra TV, The Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman said: A great number of Iran made Grad rockets and different kinds of IEDs and rocket launchers and heavy, medium and light weapons were discovered and confiscated in Basra.
Mohammad Askari added: One of these weapons is RPG-16 which is a new weapon, but the Iraqi Army possessed RPG-7; Species of mortars and Grad missiles and advanced IEDs which are Iran made were discovered and confiscated. Also there are adhesive IEDs which are used against armored vehicles and tanks.
