US combat troops have arrived at the Habaniya military base in Ramadi, west of Baghdad, Iraq’s al-Mustaqila news agency reported citing Iraqi sources.
A source in the Al Anbar military operations command informed the German DPA news agency that new US forces, including American troops transferred with military special military cargo planes with full equipment and all their weaponry, have entered the Habbaniya military base located east of Ramadi. They have joined the existing American forces in this base, and these forces are combat troops and not advisory personnel.
