
Haitham al-Maleh, head of the Syrian Revolutionary Council said in an interview with al-Arabiya TV, “The Iraqi regime is transferring defectors of the Syrian government and Army, who seek refuge in Iraq, back to the Bashar Assad government.”
On the other hand, two Syrian diplomats in Syria have defected the Assad regime and joined the opposition. The Syrian Consul in Kuala Lumpur Emad al-Ahmar and diplomatic attaché Mahmoud Obeid announced their recently defection from the Syrian regime.
Reports indicate 103 innocent Syrians were killed by the Assad regime on Saturday, mostly in Damascus and Aleppo.
