The restive Iraqi city of Ramadi bravely held its weekly Friday unity prayers despite the fact that as Al-Jazeera TV reported the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi are targeted by indiscriminate shelling from Maliki’s forces.
The al-Mada news agency reported people participated in large numbers in Ramadi’s Friday unity prayers.
Coinciding with Friday prayers in Ramadi, as reported by al-Tagheer TV one of Maliki’s military bases north of this city came under severe Katyusha missile fire.
