Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi, leader of the Muttahedoon Coalition, said in Anbar Province there is a type of popular revolt taking place against Maliki’s government.
“The current crisis in Anbar is a crisis that Maliki created before the elections,” he said, going on to criticize Maliki for choosing a military option to resolve the Anbar crisis and warned of this conflict spreading to other areas.
