Al Taqeer TV reported Tuesday’s session of the Iraqi Parliament turned into verbal and physical quarrels between MPs affiliated to Maliki and the Iraqiya Coalition.
State of Law coalition MPs affiliated to Maliki used offensive remarks towards Iraqiya and Kurdistan coalition MPs. Also, there was a fight between State of Law and Sadrists MPs, Al Taqeer TV added.
Sadrist MPs attacked and beat Ali Al Sha’la of Maliki’s slate after he insulted various MPs, including using vulgar words against Iraqiya MPs.
Following these quarrels Parliament Speaker Osama Al Nujaifi ended the session.

 
In other news, Al Jazeera on Tuesday aired images of an Iraqi military vehicle attacking and running over demonstrators in Mosul. This occurred while live ammunitions were shot by soldiers chasing demonstrators. The footage also showed demonstrators heading towards Al Ahrar Square in downtown Mosul.
