
Senior Iraqi religious leader Mohammad Taghi al-Modaresi in his speech in Karaball called on the Iraqi people to stage a social, cultural and political revolution to change the status quo and be liberated from dictatorship, Al Tagheer TV reported.
“Dictatorship is the main characteristic of the Iraqi rulers. We in Iraq haven’t seen sound and fair leaders… we are in need of a cultural revolution, a gentry revolution, a social revolution and a political revolution,” he said.
