Iraq: Maliki forces suffer harsh defeat in al-Anbar battles

Sheikh Ali Hatam, emir of Iraq’s Doleim tribe said to Baghdad TV, “All the cities, towns and regions of Anbar Province are under the control of the armed tribes, and I swear to God that Maliki’s military and paramilitary forces don’t control even one road. In three days over forty of their vehicles have been destroyed. Wherever Maliki’s military convoys pass they will be attacked and smashed, and he can do nothing about it.”
