Sheikhs and residents of Iraq’s Diyala Province issued a statement calling for the ousting of General Shemri, head of the province police and a commander of Badr militant forces, Iraq’s al-Qarbiya TV reported.
This statement reads Jamil Shemeri has committed genocide against Sunnis in Diyala Province and this is in addition to other crimes such as supporting and providing safe haven to sectarian militants in this province.
