Iraq Council of Tribal Sheikhs held a session in Ramadi with Sheikh Ali Hatam, emir of the Doleim tribes, announcing their support of the tribes’ revolution to maintain al-Anbar’s dignity. They demanded Maliki’s army and his SWAT forces to immediately evacuate al-Anbar Province.
In other news, armed tribes said they have taken control over the Albu Abid and Albu Bali regions in the Khalidiya districts. Eyewitnesses said 4 HUMVEE vehicles belonging to army forces were set ablaze in these clashes.
