Iraq Anbar Tribes Military Council member Abu Asem said the armed tribes are fighting against Iran’s terrorist Quds Force in Iraq, al-Tagheer TV reported.
“The armed tribes have the cities of Garme and Falluja under their control and have defeated attacks staged by Maliki’s army. We are currently not fighting Maliki’s army; in fact we are fighting against Badr and Asaeb al-Haq militants and terrorist Quds Force units linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, and the so called Abolfazl al-Abbas corps that was in Syria and now they have brought it into Iraq,” he said.
“The armed tribes and all the units are ready to fight to the very end…” Abu Asem added.
“If Maliki’s military forces had taken over even one house in Fallujah they would use their propaganda to tout about it everywhere… however, they have no control and their militants are staging various attacks, facing stiff resistance and are forced to flee the scene, and we are currently making advances,” he continued.
