INTV, 4 Nov 2013 – A court in Bahrain condemned the members of a 4-man terrorist team linked to Iran named ‘Imam’s Army’ to four years in prison.
The Bahrain news agency reported: According to confessions presented by the suspects, it has become clear that the recruiting was carried out by two Bahrainis by the names of Mirza Mohammed and Aqil Jafar, who were both in Iran. The investigations also revealed that the individual organizing the operation was an Iranian by the name of Abu Nosser, a member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.
General Tareq al-Hassan, head of Bahrain’s public security, revealed that these individuals in Iran stayed in IRGC bases, and in Iraq were in facilities associated to Hezbollah in the cities of Karbala and Baghdad.
