Iran’s Suggestions on Iraq Were Rejected in Istanbul Conference

Baghdad TV reported that the Iranian regime’s proposal in the conference of Iraq’s neighboring countries in Istanbul won no support, and some modifications in favor of the Iranian regime, including merging militias in Iraqi Army, failed.

Citing some informed sources, Baghdad TV said: The Iranian regime’s delegation asked for making modifications in the article regarding disarmament of the militias and entering some the so-called good militias into the Iraqi Army, but this demand was rejected and it was announced: “We don’t have good and bad militias. Everybody must be disarmed.”
