Al-Hayat daily wrote: The first day of security experts’ meeting of neighboring Iraq governments was the scene of verbal confrontation between the Iranian and Iraqi delegations about the Iranian regime’s role in arming and training militias, and also about Iraq’s protection of the opposition organization PMOI.

Al-Hayat added: The recent Basra events imposed itself on the second conference day’s agenda and the Iraqi delegation’s chief asked for formation of “board of reality report” regarding Iranian regime’s role.

Al-Arabiya TV also reported: In the second meeting of Damascus committee, Iraq attacked the Iranian regime for its intervention in Basra incidents; in the first day, this session witnessed verbal wrangling between the Iranian and Iraqi delegations about the Iranian regime’s role in arming and training militias and Iraq’s protection of the opposition organization PMOI.
