Angela Merkel, German Chancellor and Nicholas Sarkozy, French President announced in a joint press conference that the Iranian regime is a threat as before.

German and French leaders asked for continuance of international pressure on that regime to halt its Uranium enrichment.

At this press conference which was held after an unofficial meeting with Angela Merkel in Élysée Palace, Nicholas Sarkozy said: “What has made the Iranian regime to respond is the decisiveness and the sanctions”. He said everybody knows that the Iranian regime’s leaders are after acquiring nuclear weapon.

Angela Merkel, also, said: “The Iranian regime remains a threat to the world’s security and this is something that is unacceptable to us.”
