Iranian Regime not invited for Paris Conference of Palestinian State

French Foreign Ministry website reported that the Iranian regime had not been invited to the conference to assist the Palestinian Government in Paris to be held on Monday Dec. 17, in which 67 countries and the U.N. Secretary General will take part.

French Foreign Ministry spokesman in his daily briefing in reply to a question about whether Iranian regime was invited to Monday’s conference said: Iranian regime was not invited. The countries which attended in the Annapolis Conference were invited and Iranian regime was not present there.

Asked whether it wasn’t an opportunity to invite (the regime), he replied it was not the decision.

The spokesman added Syria is among the courtiers invited and altogether 67 courtiers have declared their readiness to join the conference of contributors for the Palestinian state. Also the U.N. Secretary General, representatives from European countries, international financial constitutions such as the World Bank and the International Monitory Found and the Islamic Development Bank are going to attend the conference.
