In an interview with Rafidain TV, Sheikh Muhammad Ka’bi, head of political bureau of the Iraqi Southern Tribal Council, called the Iranian regime’s meddling in Iraq the main obstacle of reconciliation in Iraq. He said: In the light of the Iranian regime’s interventions which has influenced all over Iraq particularly in the south, there would be no reconciliation. All of them should be immediately expelled from Iraq in order to implement the national reconciliation.

Pointing out to the Iranian regime’s atrocities in Iraq, he added: In the condition that they kill and purge our tribesmen there wouldn’t be reconciliation; Reconciliation won’t take place under a sectarianist government; the only solution would be to change the government totally.
