NCRI, 22 October 2010 – A trade office representing the Iranian regime’s interests in the Iraqi city of Erbil has been closed, according to sources in the Kurdish region.
AKA News quoted one source as saying that the location was shut down for security and legal reasons.
According to the source, the Iranian regime’s commerce location in Erbil was ordered to shut its doors because it does not have a security permit.
AKA News added that the centre’s officials refused to provide any explanations.
A public relations official at the Trade Ministry of Kurdistan said, “This center has been operating without a permit and that is why it was shut down. It represented 60 companies belonging to the Iranian regime.”
