Iranian regime business interest office in Erbil closed

NCRI, 22 October 2010 – A trade office representing the Iranian regime’s interests in the Iraqi city of Erbil ‎has been closed, according to sources in the Kurdish region.‎
AKA News quoted one source as saying that the location was shut down for security and ‎legal reasons.

According to the source, the Iranian regime’s commerce location in Erbil was ordered to ‎shut its doors because it does not have a security permit.‎
AKA News added that the centre’s officials refused to provide any explanations.‎
A public relations official at the Trade Ministry of Kurdistan said, “This center has been ‎operating without a permit and that is why it was shut down. It represented 60 companies ‎belonging to the Iranian regime.”‎
