Iraqi MP Mahmoud Othman from the Kurdish coalition said Iran is increasing its interferences in Iraq and it has become much more evident especially these days considering the developments in Syria, Malaf.net reported.
In case Syria falls, Iraq will be Iran’s first line of defense, Othman added.
“Iran has strong relations with the Iraqi government in all ranks, and one of the reasons behind Ahmadinejad’s visit to Iraq is without a doubt related to the conditions in Syria because it is an important subject and affects everyone,” this senior Kurdish MP said.
