The Al-Hayat daily, published in London, cited Abdullatif Rayan, the US Forces’ Press advisor in Iraq as saying: ”The Iranian regime’s affiliated special groups are the main cause of increasing violence in Iraq in the second half of Ramadan, Islamic holy month.

He added: The special groups that are in connection with the Iranian regime and have returned to Iraq, are trying to re-organize themselves for carrying out terrorist operations; they select easy targets like people’s gatherings in Baghdad’s streets.
