The Indian Prime Minister announced his country opposes Iran being equipped with nuclear weapon.

After a joint meeting of European Union and India, Manmohan Singh said to the reporters: We will not welcome emersion of another nuclear power in our neighborhood and oppose the Iranian regime’s ambitions for acquiring nuclear weapon.

The Indian Prime Minister emphasized that the Iranian regime should abide by its commitments with regard to Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT).
