Egypt joined the Arab coalition on Wednesday by dispatching hundreds of its military forces to take part in the liberation of Sana’a and Yemen out of Houthi control.
Egypt had prior to this sent its naval forces to the Yemen coastlines and has been in practice taking part in the Arab coalition operations. However, with the Sana’a liberation operation nearing Egypt is seen dispatching its ground forces to Yemen, marking a major development.
