HRW criticizes ‘mass eviction’ of Syrian refugees in Lebanon

Orient Net, April 20, 2018— More than 3,664 Syrian refugees were forcibly evicted by at least 13 municipalities in Lebanon, Human Rights Watch (HRW) reported today (April 20).

Evictions were described ‘discriminatory’ and lacking due process as they were based on the refugees’ nationality or religion, according to a report published by HRW.
