BERLIN (AFP) – 20 Oct. 2016- The leaders of France and Germany warned Thursday that they did not exclude imposing sanctions on Russia over its bombardment in the Syrian city of Aleppo.
“Everything that can constitute a threat can be useful,” said French President Francois Hollande, in response to a question on possible sanctions hours ahead of an EU summit in Brussels, while German Chancellor Angela Merkel added that “we cannot remove this option”.
