A senior Saudi Arabia delegation went to Doha to meet with the emir of Qatar. This delegation included Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Faisal, Intelligence Minister Khalid bin Bandar and Interior Minister Mohamed bin Naef. Saudi Arabia will be hosting a Gulf Cooperation Council session next week.
GCC Secretary-General Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani revealed the main topic of these talks in Riyadh will be the current disagreements with Qatar.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met with this delegation and Al Jazeera TV reported in this meeting focused on joint efforts by GCC government in the latest regional and international developments.
