In heavy clashes of the past two days between armed tribes and Maliki’s army, dozens of Iraqi officers and troops have been killed, Al Jazeera TV reported, with the number of casualties suffered by Maliki’s army in the town of Wilbiye in southwest Baghdad numbering at 64 officers and soldiers, along with 23 government vehicles destroyed. The armed tribes have reported 13 of their members were killed in these attacks.
