Ahmad Abu-Risha, the head of the Awakening Council of Iraq, called the Arab countries to reopen their embassies in Iraq and said that would lead to a halt in Iran’s influence in Iraq .

Abu Risha, with reliable security intelligence, openly accused Iran for arming and equipping terrorist groups and meddling in the affairs of his country.

Abu Risha said in an interview with al-Arabia TV: the threat to Iraq lies in the presence of this ( Iran’s) ambassador to Iraq; this has been proven to us. During the raid of police forces on al-Qaeda in al- Anbar province, everything indicated Iran’s meddling. Besides, their consulates in Iraq, in Irbil and in Basra back the terrorist groups, and a big number of these consulates’ members have been apprehended in Iraq.
