In an interview with Asharq al-Awsat daily, Saad Hariri, leader of the Lebanese Parliament’s majority warned: The forces of the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) are present in Lebanon; their meddling is obvious. The commander of the IRGC confesses that they have force in Lebanon.

Referring to the Iranian and Syrian regime’s sabotage in the new Lebanese President election, he said: We shouldn’t be afraid of the opponents’ threats, we have to prove our independence and sovereignty with election of new President.
