Rudolph Giuliani and Senator John McCain, two US presidential candidates, supported Bush administration’s recent measures against the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and stressed on necessity of preventing the Iranian regime from acquiring nuclear weapon.
During his remarks in Midland, Giuliani said: We don’t let the Iranian regime acquire nuclear weapon and become a nuclear power. We hope the sanctions would be efficient, but this doesn’t mean that other options are ignored.
Senator John McCain, the Presidential candidate from Republican Party, also said: We can’t let the Iranian regime acquire nuclear power.
While rejecting military option, he said: The Iranian officials must know if I become President they will face a person who doesn’t let them obtain nuclear weapon.
