German Chancellor calls for sanctions against Russia

German Chancellor Angela Merkel called on the European Union to impose more sanctions against Russia because the peace plan for east Ukraine has not been implemented. The EU had prepared measures against Russia for its measures in Ukraine, but on Monday it refrained from imposing them.
