Geneva II talks will fail, Syria minister says

Syrian National Reconciliation Minister Ali Haidar said the Geneva II talks will most definitely fail.
“The Syrian National Coalition believes the Syrian regime is not serious in these talks,” he added.
The SNC issued a statement announcing the Syrian regime is not actually engaging in talks and is deliberately preventing any progress in the Geneva negotiations. The SNC accused the Assad regime is repeating the issue of terrorism in order to play out the time-killing policy.
UN special envoy Lakhdar Brahimi said Tuesday’s talks in Geneva had no progress, while the Syrian opposition delegation says the Assad regime is not accepting the UN-proposed plan of action.
