Al-Arabiya TV reported: Abdurrahman Al-Atiya, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC) denied the Iranian regime’s claim that Iran had been invited to the session of GCC leaders in Muscat.

Al-Arabiya TV added: Following the Iranian regime’s announcement that it was invited to GCC leaders’ meeting in Muscat, Abdurrahman al-Atiyya, stating that no guests would participate in the GCC leaders of the six Persian Gulf countries, denied the invitation from the Iranian regime for this session.

Al-Atiyya added: I am sure that only the leaders of the 6 member countries of GCC would participate in this meeting in Oman.
