Colonel Riyadh al-Asad, founder of the Free Syrian Army, called on all rebel groups fighting against Bashar Assad to unite, reorganize and upgrade the FSA ranks and files.
Colonel al-As’ad in his statement said a new era has begun and time has come to unite and begin the battle for Damascus. Colonel al-As’ad called on all rebel battalions to lend in their support.
“We have started working with the commanders of various rebel groups and brigades in all of Syria’s provinces and we call on all the heroes and rebel forces to join the Free Syrian Army and support it through all political, media and substantive means,” he added.
