In an interview with the Al Jazeera TV network, Free Syrian Army Deputy Commander Colonel Malik al-Kurdi described ceasefire violations by Assad’s military.
“From the very beginning of the ceasefire we said this cannot be a successful ceasefire because the Syrian regime will not abide by it,” he said.
“Today, when people took to the streets to take part in demonstrations, the regime like always opened fire on demonstrators and in some areas snipers fired upon FSA members,” al-Kurdi explained.
Over 70 defenseless people were killed Friday at the hands of Assad’s agents.
