FSA Chief: Assad has lost control over 70 to 80 percent of Syria

“Currently, the Bashar al-Assad regime has lost 70 to 80 percent of Syrian soil”, said Free Syrian Army Chief Riyadh al-As’ad according to a report by al-Arabiya TV. “It’s not hidden to anyone that many of the areas, especially the cities, are out of the governments control and the Assad regime has turned to its air force, since it has been defeated in a number of districts in Edleb to Dir-al-Zour and even areas of Dara”, he added. “That is why they destroy the houses, so that no safe havens will exist for the Free Syrian Army”.
