The Syrian opposition published a report showing Free Syrian Army rebels using advanced US-made BGM-71 TOW missiles, Al Arabiya TV reported on Tuesday, April 15th. This report further indicates the rebels have recently received these missiles but there is no mentioning of the party providing these arms.
There has been many discussions recently of a US policy change on arming FSA rebels and there have been many reports of anti-tank TOW missiles being provided to moderate groups in the FSA. There is also information that the US has launched training courses for these rebels.
