INTV, 26 Sep 2013 – Over 100 senior Free Syrian Army officers issued a statement announcing any peace conference with Iran taking part must be boycotted.
“Iran is Bashar Assad’s main ally and a ‘serious part of the problem’ in Syria. Therefore, it must not take participate in any peace conference,” the statement reads in part.
“Any conference that presents any solution other than the overthrow of Assad is condemned,” they added.
