Colonel Riyadh al-Asaad, commander of the Free Syrian Army announced members of this army in recent clashes downed three helicopter gunships belonging to the Assad army in the city of Rif Halab. Colonel Riyadh al-Asaad added dozens of Assad army troops were killed and wounded in these clashes.
