French President François Hollande in his annual speech in Elysee Palace on Tuesday, August 25th emphasized on his country’s support for the reform drive adopted by Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi.
“France will continue its participation in the international coalition on Iraq,” he said, adding Paris supports Prime Minister al-Abadi’s reforms to maintain Iraq’s institutions, structures, unity and rallying all parts of life in these efforts.
Hollande also stressed Paris will continue its support for the moderate opposition in Syria.
