The Republic of Azerbaijan condemned four of its citizens on charges of terrorism and collaborating with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, each receiving 12 to 14 years behind bars.
These four individuals were arrested before the Euro Vision Singing contests in June.
According to an Azerbaijan Ministry of National Security report, these individuals intended to disrupt the security of the Euro Vision contest in Baku and the assassination of the country’s president.
