The former Kuwaiti Air Force commander asked for setting up a missile defense shield vis-à-vis the Iranian regime’s threats.

Major General Saber al-Suwaidan said: The Persian Gulf missile defense shield provides necessary protection against the Iranian regime’s missiles. Resorting of the Persian Gulf countries to diplomacy and ignoring the repeated threats of the Iranian regime would not have appropriate consequences.

He added: If the Iranian regime disrupts the international shipping and oil export, the US Navy stationed in Persian Gulf can take control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz in few hours.
