Five countries set new conditions for issuing visas to Iranians

INTV, 8 Oct 2013 – The five countries of Georgia, Oman, Indonesia, Egypt and Malaysia have limited or completely cancelled issuing visas for Iranians.
The state-run Tabnak website in Iran wrote, β€œOn the same days that Rohani was talking of engagement, the Georgian government announced that due to concerns of Iran bypassing sanctions, it has begun reevaluating the visa agreement between the two countries. A month later Oman stopped issuing tourist visas for Iranians. Simultaneously, the Indonesian government said it will no longer issue visas at its airports for Iranian citizens. Egypt officially announced it has suspended all its tourism relations with Iran.”
