INTV, 15 Oct 2013 – The mullahs’ official news agency reported the second round of talks between the regime and the P5+1 took place Tuesday afternoon and ended with Western countries asking numerous questions from Iran’s delegation.
Araqchi, a member of Iran’s negotiation team, told foreign reporters that it is still to early to judge the talks.
In the afternoon talks, Iran’s foreign minister and Catherine Ashton did not take part and the mullahs’ news agency reported this is the first time that the two main negotiators of these talks did not participate.
The regime’s media outlets announced Iran called for a raise in the level of the talks, facing opposition from Western countries.
The morning talks consisted of a slideshow presented by the mullahs’ top diplomat lasting two hours, which the regime named as its new plan. Iran’s deputy foreign minister Araqchi said, “This plan is secret and will remain secret until the agreement of the P5+1.”
After the first day of talks Reuters reported it remains too early to say any advances have been made to resolve the deadlock on the Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
