Arab coalition airplanes have struck Houthi militant positions in al-Baitha province. The airstrikes have also hit the deposed Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh’s loyal forces at a military base belonging to the presidential guards. The air campaign was to prevent the Houthi forces from advancing towards the city of Loder in Abyen province.
Yemeni security sources say the Houthi rebels have been pounding residential areas in the city of Ta’izz during past few days. Reports show that dozens including women and children have been killed.
